This gentle route is entirely traffic-free. Riders can appreciate all the joys of Cassiobury Park - one of the Top Ten National Award Winning Green Flag Status Parks & Green Spaces! The route is mainly flat and is ideal for families and anyone looking to boost their confidence on a bike! :) Beginners & those who haven't cycled for ages are warmly welcome! :)

It's called the Cassiobury Park 'Special' because Watford Borough Council has granted us 'Special Permission' to ride certain paths normally for pedestrians only. We thank the Council for their trust in us, and really look forward to taking you on this ride which we can only do a limited number of times per year - so it really is special & not one to miss! :)

We usually recommend carrying a spare inner tube as changing an inner tube is faster than mending a puncture.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped.
We are Not-For-Profit and do free bike assessments, should your bike need checking over, or be in need of a service, we will give you an honest price. :)
