Starting point

Hertfordshire
WD18 6LB

This is an opportunity to meander along the Ebury Way & Grand Union Canal to one of the best independent, quirky coffee houses in the area.

At just under 10 miles, this route is a good ride if you what to extend your distance, while staying on-the-flat. It's a virtually traffic-free route, so is family friendly and a good route for adults who simply prefer to cycle traffic-free.

We will be riding back via the same route to Watford Cycle Hub which means you'll get to perfect using the 'bike slide' on the stairs both up & down from the canal...! :)

Please wear clothing to suit the weather conditions and perhaps a backpack so you can put on or take off layers as needed, gloves are recommended. Please bring two spare inner tubes in case of a puncture as its easier to change an innertube. Watford Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4 new should you need to purchase one.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped.

If your bike might need a little more TLC or hasn't been ridden for a while, you can always bring it in for a free assessment; we're a Not-For-Profit, Community Enterprise and promise to give you an honest price if your bike needs fixing, fine tuning or a full service. :)
