Watford Cycle Hub Breeze Beginner Ride Through Winter- to Lock 81

Starting from - This year the Let's Ride Through Winter Challenge runs from 26th December until Monday 31st March 2025. Take part in five Breeze, Guided Rides or Community Group rides throughout January, February and March and you will earn a virtual "Winter Challenge" badge which can be shared on social media. Please look out for other rides on Let's Ride and the Watford Breeze group's Facebook page.

The Ebury Way follows the route of a disused railway track through trees, passing by gravel lakes, rivers and over the Grand Union Canal. This pleasant, flat, traffic free route allows you to fully appreciate your surroundings!
At Lock 81 we'll have the opportunity if people want a toilet or refreshment break or we can head back to Watford Cycle Hub for refreshments
Suitable for women who are new to cycling or want a gentle cycle ride.
The Ebury Way is an old railway line which used to run from Watford to Rickmansworth
All traffic free
Potential refreshment stop at Lock 81 or when we return to Watford Cycle Hub
The wearing of helmets is recommended and money for refreshments along with a spare inner tube or two!
