Water, Water Everywhere!

A meander around Chorlton and Sale Water Parks with a little diversion through Chorlton Ees and along the River Mersey - no water wings required on this ride, but plenty of opportunity to spot a few water birds. Starting at Chorlton Water Park we will head off towards Sale Water Park and pick up a route which goes along the river and through Chorlton Ees. Something of a magical mystery tour this one, as all paths look the same in there, but eventually we should end up on Beech Road for a well earned cup of tea and slice of cake. This ride is entirely off road and completely flat. You will need a bike that is in good working order and wear clothing that is suitable for the day and weather. Remember, you will warm up as you ride, so layers are good. Don’t forget a drink and a puncture repair kit – we will give you help if you have an issue with your bike but you must have the appropriate tools and equipment. Money and a lock for the café stop is needs. A helmet isn’t compulsory but is highly recommended, and must be worn by any under 18s.
