Washington to Saltwell Park

This ride will start from Washington Village, cycling to Gateshead via Heworth and Sunderland Road. We will then join the on road cycle path to Saltwell Park where we will stop for some refreshments. We will head back to Washington via the Angel of the North, joining the old railway line at Birtley and back to the village via Rickleton and Biddick. A fairly flat route with some cycling on the road (in cycle lanes). Hopefully the weather will be fine but please bring a water proof coat just in case.
