Was that the Boogeyman?

A fairly flat circular route on gravel paths with two small but steepish inclines up to Vane Farm and East Brackley. The paths are narrow in places, sometimes muddy with puddles, but in pretty good condition. We will mainly be riding in single file. We will cycle through very dark stretches of woodland at times - one of which is the spooky Coffin Woods! Almost entirely traffic free. We will ride at the pace of the slowest rider, at a steady pace but we will minimise stopping time to prevent riders getting chilled so please be prepared to keep going. We will have a few short stops for drinks etc. Please note that cycling on gravel requires more energy than road cycling due to the increased resistance of the surface - it's a bit harder work, so if you struggle completing 13 miles on the road, please consider if you are fit enough for this ride.
