An easygoing 6 mile 'out & back' route, mainly traffic free, from Warwick University campus to Abbey Fields in Kenilworth. This is an ideal opportunity, for those of you who maybe haven’t been out on a bike for a while or are new to cycling, to get out and stretch your legs without too much challenge.

The start/meeting point is outside the tea shop 'Curiositea' by the large outdoor screen located in the student union at Warwick University by the Arts Centre. For those arriving with a car, parking is available across the campus (charges may apply).

From the university, we'll make our way to Cryfield Pavillion where we join the traffic free ‘Connect 2 Kenilworth’ route which joins the university to the Kenilworth Greenway. We'll follow the Greenway all the way to Abbey Fields, our halfway point and a short rest for our legs. Once rested, we'll re-trace our steps back to the university, stopping at the sports hub for refreshments.

Please bring along a spare inner tube and pump in case of a puncture and a little money for refreshments at the end of the ride if you wish to join us. All riders under the age of 18 yrs old must wear a helmet. Keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress accordingly - gloves highly recommended!

We hope you can join us, and look forward to seeing you!
Tony & Zorena, your Ride Leader Team.
