Wander to Wicken

Heading out of Walden up to Debden, to Ugley and through Rickling Green. Finally through to Wendens Ambo via Arkesden and back into Walden for end of ride refreshments.

A gentle 20 miles on quiet country roads. We will have 2 start points the common car park, leaving at 8.30. We will then meet Alice and any others at the bench by traffic lights on Debden road at approx 8.40. Please make sure you arrive 10mins before start times so we can carry out bike checks.

We will be riding on small country roads - We will stop for drinks /snacks along the route. Please remember to wear bright clothing and bring your cycle helmet, spare inner tube, pump, water to drink/ snacks to eat on the ride and money for refreshments at the end. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so that we can do our safety checks and go through the route. It is important that you check that your bike is fully roadworthy, good brakes, gears that work and tyres that are pumped to the correct pressure – thanks
