Wanborough – Family cycle ride

Out via Rotten Row, The High Street, Burycroft and the Marsh and then picking up cycle paths to take us to The Bradbury Park Estate and onto Day house Lane and Coate Water where we can stop for some refreshments and photos, returning to the Common Head Round about via cycle paths and then retracing our pedals strokes to Hoopers field

Come and join the Lets Ride team of specially trained Ride Leaders for a short, family guided ride ahead of the Wanborough Cycle Roadshow. Meet at Hoopers Field in Wanborough at 9.30am where you’ll take a flat route out of Wanborough and head to Coate Water, have refreshment at the cafe and then return to Hoopers Field. When you return, there will be a bike mechanic offering free safety checks and minor repairs, plus free bike security marking and you can also pick up free cycle maps, freebies and info!

We will be using country roads and many cycle paths to get us to and from Coate Watere

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are compulsory for children and most definitely recommended for adults. You should dress appropriately for the weather and consider bringing your mobile phone for the photo stop and cash or debit card for the refreshment stop. Some place’s only take card payments.
