Starting point

NN17 3BB

Top Lodge, Fineshade, King's Cliffe, NN17 3BB

This ride will be undulating with a hill at the start and finish.  There  Please ensure suitable clothing and bring along drink.  The ride will be at the pace of the slowest rider.  Starting at Top Lodge we’ll pass through the country lanes and bustling villages.  There are a few inclines and gentle downhill slopes but we’ll stop for plenty of breaks and there will be an 'A' road to cross.  We will ride at a leisurely pace giving you the opportunity to chat with other women and we’ll ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Newcomers are always very welcome as are under 16s as long as they’re accompanied by an adult who’s also riding.  Please ensure any children who attend the ride are accompanied by a parent/carer, have some road awareness and are competent riders. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up.  Please dress appropriately for the weather: in cold weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a pair of warm gloves and warm socks may also be useful. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Please note that all children MUST wear a helmet to take part. We’ll look forward to meeting you there! Eileen and Alison
