Nostell Priory

This is an amazing route, created with our friends at the National Trust. Making the most out of beautiful countryside and great facilities for cyclists.

The iconic Nostell Priory is starting point for this great route. At 22 miles long this route is long enough to include some amazing sights and scenery around the Wakefield area but short enough not to over do it on the leg muscles! Along the way the direction makes the most of the Wonders of Wakefield route as well as sections of the Trans-Pennine Trail.  There are plenty of places for a breather to admire the views including Waterton Countryside Centre, Pugneys, New Miller Dam and of course Nostell Priory. As this route is predominately on traffic free and rural roads it's perfect for anybody wanting to up their mileage a little but still ride in a safe environment.
