This is an amended version of my popular Waggonways and Coastal Views guided ride. The ride includes the Eat for England spoon and the Shroud art sculptures then continues eastwards to the coast then picks up NCN1, NCN72 and NCN10 back to the start point.

Waggonways, cycle paths and quiet roads.

Surf Cafe near Tynemouth boating lake.

Helmets are advisable for adults and compulsory for children. Tools, bike pump and inner tubes specific to your bike should be carried by all riders. If we're lucky it may be a warm day but riders should consider that it could be a little cooler down the coast and dress accordingly.

All riders, other then young children, are welcome but riders should be aware of the distance and be comfortable with riding 20+ miles.
