Visit Whichford Pottery and the Straw Kitchen

The route starts in Broadwell, then we cycle through Evenlode and past the recently renovated Four Shires Stone (there is a very short stretch on the A44) to Great Wolford. There is a small climb to Little Wolford. After crossing the next main road (A3400) we then head towards Cherrington but then take a quiet gated road up a hill with splendid views at the top. There was a palace to the left of the gated road which was taken down when the occupant died. Whitchford is the next village and has a lovely pottery and cafe- The Straw Kitchen. The toilet there is an experience! There are ceramic toilets if you prefer. After some refreshments we then ride up Barrats hill to Stourton. The route back will be familiar once we pass Cherrington. (Wolfords, Evenlode and then Broadwell).

This is mostly a circular route.

Mostly Quiet road but with a few short sections on main roads

Helmets are compulsory. A spare inner tube is a good idea.
