Village ride to Chilomb

Starting at the cathedral we ride and climb our way out of the busyness of the city, to the calm of the countryside. Through quiet lanes we’ll ride up to stop at the beautiful Saxon church yard to relax and enjoy the view before a beautiful descent.  A quick diversion will enable us to enjoy a summer’s evening drink in a local pub, before we end our journey back at the Cathedral. Bring a bottle of water, some money for a drink and maybe an energy boosting snack like a banana.   Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  We always welcome newcomers on our rides and ride at the pace of the slowest rider, where there are hills it is no problem to get off and walk.   If you would like to hire a bike, please email [email protected] and we can sort you out.
