(0) ReviewsAn opportunity to get close to the nine 370ft high turbines that can be seen from most of the district and are situated atop Ovenden Moor and behind Ogden Water.
With the exception of Hewenden and Cullingworth viaducts, all the rest are roads which, whilst hilly, are for the main part quiet. There is an option for brave mountain bikers to take the bridleway from the wind farm past Ogden Water, but that will not be me!
Robertshaws Farm Shop at Keelham. Whilst this is 20 miles into the ride it is the most reliable stop for cyclists with both indoor and outside seating.
Please wear a helmet and suitable clothing. We are over 1400ft above sea level at times and it can be windy. Also bring a spare inner tube. Please make sure that the Lets Ride website has up to date contact details for yourself and your emergency contact.
