A varied route. Minor roads to Rivington, a climb up Sheep House and descent to Belmont. A fast and undulating ride on A675 through Houghton into Preston. The contrasting Guild Wheel Cycleway and minor rods to Roots for a break. Return Via Penwortham and Longton to Chorley.

As necessary on route and for refreshment at Rots after ~30miles

Helmets. Inner tube and tools to fix puncture/minor problems.
