This challenging but leisurely paced out-and-back ride follows quiet country lanes through the Medlock valley before passing through the outskirts of Daisy Nook and over Hartshead Pike, where you'll feel a world away from the hustle-and-bustle of Manchester.  There's a well earned refreshment stop in the picturesque village of Uppermill before enjoying the route back to the Velodrome.
Café stop will be Saints café or Newbank garden centre.
This is a challenging route with a few hills, riders to take all hills at own pace and we will regroup at top with last rider up to decide when we set off again.
Meet outside Velodrome main entrance at 9:45 with aim to set off at 10 am.
