A lovely off rode ride
Carry a cycle lock if possible. Helmets to be worn and warm clothing.
This is a steady ride at own pace. I suggest we all cycle to the bridge at Naburn ( the one with the metal fisherman on it) and re assemble.
Then we can all go to the Marina cafe for a drink and warm up. From there we can discuss who needs to return to the start and who would like to forray into York and discover Cycle Heaven.
If we all decide to go back from the Marina its fine too, its allweather and time dependant.

You might want to pack a sandwich in case the cafe is busy.

99% off road. This is a dedicated Sustrans trail for pure enjoyment. Sign posts to the planets and streams to ride over then the river Ouse. Lots of Photo opportunities.

Mostly traffic free just a little bit on road at the cafe stops.

There are two rides in one here. Those wanting a shorter ride (12) miles can turn off at Naburn Marina for a break then go back. Those wanting a longer ride can carry on into York to Cycle Heaven cafe (19)miles. Register your choice with the Ride Leaders on the day.

Helmets to be worn and adequate clothing. A red Heart on your bike! Money for your stop and an inner tube for your bike. Bikes must be in working order.

First-timers welcome!
