Vale of Belviour Pedal

This is a lovely ride with just one hillock out of Asfordby. We then cruise along the top of the Vale, past the Long Clawson turn off before heading down and through this beautiful part of Leicestershire. Hopefully the Belviour Castle Cafe will be open for a cuppa and a sticky bun! This is approximately half way at 15 miles. We then head left out of the BC car park and return to Asfordby Village Hall. Whether you want to give yourself a bit of a workout or whether you fancy a cruise, this is the ride for you. All I ask is that you're capable of pedalling 20 miles and that you bring a Road Bike. We will be pedalling at 12-14mph (slower up hill / faster down hill). It's also wise to have a couple of bottles of water and a snack. Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately. Please note that if it's chucking it down or snowing (you never know!) then the ride will be postponed. Please check this site for updates.
