Uxbridge to Burnham Beeches

On this 19 mile loop, we explore the country roads of South Bucks. Heading out from Uxbridge, we have a not insignificant climb to Iver Heath before we pass the home of James Bond on our way to Fulmer. There’s another noticeable hump here. We then pass through Egypt (no pyramids visible) before we reach the coffee stop at Burnham Beeches.

Our return journey takes us through Stoke Poges and into Black Park. We use the very ridable, though somewhat bumpy, trails to get to Iver and then make our way back to Uxbridge.

There’s a variety of riding environments including traffic-free paths, narrow country lanes and a few sections with heavier traffic. The hills are not over-challenging. Note that the cafe has only outdoor seating, but many of the tables are under cover.

The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes this can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, the queue at the cafe, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
