Usk to Raglan garden centre

We head out of Usk on the Abergavenny Road heading towards the chainbridge. Once over the bridge we take a quiet lane for a short break away from the main road. We then join the road again as we continue to head north. Just before the end of the road, we turn right and cut off the corner before joining the old Raglan road briefly as we then turn away from the road to head towards Llanarth. As we enter the village we turn right and head along the lanes to pass through the village of Great Oak. We then have about another 1/2 mile to reach the garden centre.
After a short stop, we will follow the old Raglan road into Raglan. From here, we follow Chepstow road past the farm park and then turn before the main part of the climb to Llansoy and go past the gliding club. Then we use the flood route to avoid the dual carriageway and head back into Usk passing by the prison.

An undulating circular route that utilises some of the roads from the Tour De Gwent.

The route is all on road using a mix of quiet lanes and some busier roads. Suitable for all bikes but requires confidence on roads.

We will stop at Raglan garden centre for refreshments just before half way round.

Please wear a helmet and bring along some money and a lock for the coffee stop (bike racks are at the front of the centre). It is also a good idea to carry a spare tube just in case.
