Beryl Upton Country Park Ride

The route starts at Upton Country Park and does a loop around the paths there, before heading out towards Lake & Hamworthy and a stop to view Brownsea Island.

From here we drop down into Poole and stop at the Quay before heading back along Holes Bay enjoying breathtaking views of the water and wetlands, ending back at Upton Country Park.

The route is approximately 5 - 6 miles of gentle, flat cycle paths & roads, however we can tailor the route completely based on the group.

Welcome to Beryl's Led Rides taking place on the last Wednesday of every month, 1pm - 3pm at Upton County Park. Its a friendly, sociable and enjoyable ride for all abilities, wether you are new to cycling, looking to find new routes or simply want to enjoy the great outdoors and stay active, everyone is welcome.

It will be on a mixture of cycle paths around the park, traffic-free paths and quiet roads where we can.

The ride will be very gentle with plenty of stops along the way at the best viewpoints and nature spots that Upton and Poole has to offer. There are plenty of Beryl bays dotted along the route so you will also be able to see where you can leave the bike that you hire. After the ride, there will be an opportunity to have a drink in the cafe at Upton County Park if you wish.

Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing, cycle helmets are not a legal requirement or provided, but are optional. You are able to use your own bike, however, why not hire a Beryl?
