This ride is about the climb rather than the distance. See the elevation, below. We’ll take a meandering route to reach South Hill Estate before making the ascent up Mount Park Road. We’ll then proceed along High Street to make a final steep climb to Harrow’s iconic St Mary’s Church.

As well as being able to take in the views, we’ll have refreshments in the Spire Cafe. https://ni7017.wixsite.com/spirecafeharrow

Our return journey takes us through Harrow Schools playing fields and Northwick Park. It involve a stretch known as the Ducker Path. This is narrow and can be muddy after heavy rain. Therefore, this ride is not suitable for bikes with skinny tyres.

A short ride with a big climb.

Mostly on quiet road, cycle tracks and paths.
