Why not try this lovely countryside route around the foothills of the Pennines. Starting at the beautiful Worsbrough Country Park you head west and quickly pick up the quieter country roads while passing through the interesting villages. Why not have a breather in Wortley at its lovely tea room. You can carry on this circular route by touching the Trans Pennine trail and descending via glorious views to Wentworth castle.
This ride is 14 miles long but does take us up and down some hills of the area so it’s perfect for those wanting to do some hills but not the miles!
