About the route
Setting out from Swarthmoor Hall we will visit High Carley, Great and Little Urswick and then pass the Candle Factory in Lindal. We will cycle a very short section on the main road and then use quiet country lanes as we cycle through Loppergarth and Pennington. A quick, bumpy ride over the cobbles in Ulverston and then use the mostly traffic free route along Ulverston Canal. We will then head back towards Swarthmoor Hall for a well-earned drink and perhaps a piece of cake (please bring some change for the cafe).
