Chorlton Water Park

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. This easy-going five mile ride is centred on the Chorlton and Sale Water Parks, using the park's paths to good effect. As you ride, you can watch the sailing boats and water-fowl on the parks' many lakes, plus you can stock-up on food and drink at the cafe in Sale Water Park. The loop is totally traffic-free, making it ideal for young families and novice riders. Road bikes are not advised due to mixed surfaces.   You will need a bike that is in good working order, and suitable clothing for riding a bike  - nothing that might get caught in a chain or wheel and cothes that are comfortable.  We strongly recommend helmets for all participants but are essential for those who are under 18.
