Two Parks Billie Breeze

This is Day 46 of the Billie Fleming Tribute Year 2015. Billie set a world cycling record in 1938 and died in 2014 aged 100. Rain or shine, she went out every day and averaged 81 miles per day. On February 15th 1938 she recorded 'Local Calls' of 13 miles, so this is a Big Bike Ride day across the UK. A majority of the ride is on quiet roads. On reaching the beautiful Knighton Park we’ll have a ride around and explore the environment. We’ll stop for on our way to Victoria Park so don’t forget to bring some money. Other: It is advisable to wear appropriate clothing for the weather i.e. waterproof clothing on a rainy day, gloves, extra layers etc. You can always remove layers if you get too warm. Wearing a helmet is advisable: if you don’t have one please don't worry, you can still take part. We always ride at the pace of the slowest rider, so no one is left behind. Please ensure your bike is in good working order: working brakes, tyres inflated, working chain.
