A leisurely pedal from Worden park to Astley park
A great little ride with plenty of history to discover.

This is a mainly off road trail with cycle paths being used as much as possible, however we use a few roads to join up the dots. Leaders will be available to assist and manage the tour at all times. We will meander from Worden park up and onto Buckshaw village taking in the historic munitions site. From here we can pretty much get all the way to the stunning Astley hall and park. Here we find a newly refurbished cafe for refreshments and a brew, This a great social ride around 12 miles at a slow steady pace. All invited.

Mainly tracks and trails with a tiny bit of road.

We can stop whenever we need to but the main stop will be Astley hall circa 6 miles in.

Please bring a helmet and suitable clothing for the weather. A few pounds and a drink is always good.
