Start at Cyclops - climb Penwortham Super Highway up Penwortham Hill, following cycle paths along Liverpool Road to Hutton, where we turn off down Ratten Lane, which is a country road. Head into Longton, then Chapel Lane under the by-pass into New Longton, through village and down Royalty Lane winding country lanes through Whitestake to Penwortham by pass. Through Kingsfold to eventually turn on cycle path through to Avenham Park via new tram bridge & (option) up to Preston Pedals Hub.
