This is one of our longer rides aimed at ladies who are confident on their bikes and able to go at a faster than usual pace(about 10-12mph). We will head out to Forhill, where we will meet a group of ladies from Solihull at Forhill picnic site (B38 0EH) opposite The Peacock at 10am (please sign up for the ride and let me know if you plan to meet us there. There is plenty of free parking and it will make the ride 10 miles shorter). After that we will ride along country lanes past Redditch and Bromsgrove to the village of Inkberrow. We will stop there for lunch at a pub called The Old Bull, which is supposed to be the one that The Bull in Ambridge is based on (Radio 4 Archers fans will understand!). Our return journey will be a slightly different route back towards Birmingham, but unfortunately it will include a couple of fairly big hills as Birmingham is on a hill and we can't avoid them. We will wait at the top if you need to walk. Please bring a drink, a spare inner tube, waterproofs and a snack as we might stop at the side of the road for an energy boost! If you want to get in touch to ask more about the ride please text and I will ring you back. Joan 07835544164
