trip to the KB cycles sale, on to wylam and back to the hub for a cuppa!

As the KB cycles sale starts on saturday anybody fancy a ride out that takes a quick view of it just in case a bargain catches your eye, we'll set off from the hub on the quayside at 10.15am allowing participants the opportunity of a quick cuppa before we set off and allowing any frosts to lift a little, we'll traverse the No.72 to newburn hoping off for the KB sale, then rejoining it west to wylam and if the interst is there we'll continue to prudhoe on the No.72. A quick break before heading back along the keelmans to newburn crossing the bridge and picking up the No72 east (the keelmans gets a little industrial and roady after newburn) stopping at the hub for a well earned cuppa. Anybody heading to heaton/wallsend etc can join me for the scenic trip back there that skirts wallsend using some of the waggon ways we have here. You will be guided by a BC ride leader, first aid qualified and travelling at the pace of the slowest rider, we don't leave people behind! Any bike is capable of making this route although skinny tyred 'road' bikes may struggle for grip a little in places, just trying to manage expectations!
