Trip down the tyne and back!

Setting off from south gosforth to drop down to the quayside (you could start in gosforth or join me at the hub on the quayside!) we'll cross the tyne on the millenium bridge and travel west on the keelmans way to wylam. Crossing the tyne to the north side we'll head a little further west before turning round and heading back along the No 72 east to the quayside. We'll stop at the hub for a quick cuppa (and cake / bacon sandwich or whatever!), drop off those that started from there before setting a route back to south gosforth. You'll be joining a BC ride leader not acting as a british cycling ride leader on the day but still getting out on a run, i'm first aid qualified carrying a first aid kit so join me for a fun leisurely ride out at a steady pace to suit all. I've made the run suitable for any bike but there will be a little mud/gravel/shale and cinder in places so those with a bit more tread on their tyres (and a little suspension possibly!) may find it more comfortable but saying that i've ridden a folding bike, with no suspension and 20" road tyres, down this route and didn't suffer!
