Tring - Waterways & woodland - 10 miler

A route of 10 miles taking in the Grand Union Canal and Reservoirs near Tring and the beautiful and famed village of Aldbury. Starting in Marsworth at the Startop Reservoir Car Park heading along the pictureque canal towpath to Bulbourne and the historic former Waterways Workshops . Then up towards Tring before heading back to the Canal along the Cutting towards Tring Station overlooking the stunning countryside on the way to Aldbury.  A chance to stop at Aldbury to refresh and relax and take in the village that has featured in a number of films including Bridget Jones and television series; The Avengers and Midsummer Murders. Then heading back along quiet country roads to Marsworth. This route comes in at 10  miles so it is a good challenge for those wanting to stretch their legs that bit further and see some beautiful parts of Hertfordshire!

Please note, there is one short but strenuous climb on this route.
