Starting point

South Yorkshire

This is a night ride adventure not to be missed!
This ride will be at an easy pace and will follow the Trans Pennine Trail northwards past Bentley Rise. We turn-off the TPT and head north-west towards Highfields Lake. Our return south-eastwards takes us down the Roman Ridge cycle path. We will stop at The Sun Pub (in Scawsby) for about 40 minutes for a drink and toilets before returning to the start point at Anchorage Lane.

Between the trails we should be on some quiet roads for about 500 metres in total.

This is a social ride together as a group. We pause the ride for punctures sustained. Ultimately riders are individually responsible for their own bike maintenance and own safety. It is always advised helmets are worn, use a bike lock, take a torch with battery for the ride duration, bring tools and spares to repair a puncture etc. (Most important is bring a spare inner tube and pump). Check the ride distance, elevation, duration, terrain and bicycle type of this ride is compatible with your ability and bicycle.

Bring cash/card for cafe.

Just for information....Centurion Road Retail Park is nearby and has a McDonalds.(Note for those driving - you will not be allowed to leave your car in the Centurion Road Retail Park and leave site for our ride due to CCTV - so park at Anchorage Lane free car park instead). This McDonalds is a 5 minute cycle from Anchorage Lane Car park.

New riders to the group are very welcome.
We may take some photos during the ride for promoting future rides. If you don't wish to be in any photos, please let me know before the ride.

Note, to join the ride you must book on to the ride using the ‘Lets Ride’ website. Also, please check the website prior to the ride time in the event of ride cancellation.
