Starting point
Thorndon Cycle Centre is located close to the visitor centre at Thorndon Park North. The park entrance is off The Avenue and the main car park is 400m on your right along the park access road.
Our Beginner Ride is ideal for those that can ride a bike but want to improve their fitness and confidence over a range of on and off-road surfaces. We stick to quiet roads and non-technical tracks and tend to avoid the bigger hills. Bikes are available for hire for those without a suitable model.
