British Cycling Guided ride. Meeting at Victoria Park, by the entrance to the Athletic Track car park. We will be on a relatively flat route that is mostly mostly off-road; using cycle-friendly paths and the TPT(Trans-Penning Trail) to bypass Thelwall, Lymm and Outrington. We then come off the TPT to cycle through the picturesque and choclolate box village of Dunham to our destination of Dunham Massey estate and the cafe stop. Return will be a retrace of the outward route.

Quiet roads. Low traffic and minimal junctions to negotiate. Please note the TPT has sections where smooth road tyres are not suitable and will require additional care when turning and braking.

Lovely scenery throughout as we pass along an old disused railway track and the fields of Cheshire. Bring your camera if you want to stop to take photographs. Dunham Massey House and the grounds make a great backdrop.

Helmets are mandatory if under 18 years old. Please bring spare inner-tubes, sealant, or a puncture outfit. Some Basic tools. Don't forget gloves, hats and warmer clothing. Pack Waterproofs in case of wet weather. Fully-charged phone. Money/card for the cafe.

First-timers welcome!
