TPM Go down to the Woods

The ride is approximately 24 miles and is suitable for hybrids and mountain bikes although if there has been a lot of rain recently there would be some muddy puddles to add to the fun!! We'll go from along some canal path, off road trails and local roads to take us from Leigh over Amberswood to Borsdane Woods. It might be advisable to wear waterproofs. There are a few hills but nothing too drastic and lots of lovely descents on the way back! We always go to the pace of the slowest and are not too proud to push up any inclines if necessary. There will be plenty of rest stops and time to chat!! It’s advisable to bring along a drink and a spare inner tube just in case (if you don’t have one don’t let this stop you from taking part). Also please wear a helmet and make sure you have suitable clothing. We'll meet at 9.30 -9.45 and be ready to leave at 10.
