Towpaths to Broxbourne

This ride follows a pretty route along the towpath.

We'll meet at the McDonalds car park in Enfield opposite Gunpowder Mills. We’ll do a quick bike check and then head out as far as we can towards London or Broxbourne. Please make sure your bike is in good working order and maintained regularly.

This is a gentle ride on a mostly traffic free route. The total length of the ride is around 6 – 12 miles which we can decide on the day depending on the group’s ability. It’s perfect for beginners and anyone who’s not been on a bike for a while. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way.  Please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Please note ALL UNDER 18’S MUST WEAR A HELMET to take part. All women and children over 14 welcome, toddlers welcome in an approved carrier.
