The start point is outside a shop called Sydney Huyton where a cup of coffee and pie can be got. This is on Town Green Lane in Town Green just around the corner from the railway station

We head off towards Croston for lunch then retrace the route for a while before heading into Southport. There are plenty of quiet roads. Please note the ride starts at 1100 so get there earlier I will getting a train to the start point and getting the train from Southport to Liverpool
