About the route
Starting point
L39 6SE which just outside the Village shop around the corner from the station
From Town Green to Rainford for lunch then through Rainhill back to the Loop Line
It is 27 miles one way back to the Loop Line.
There shouldn’t be a need to bring lunch unless that’s what you wish as there is a pub stop involved which will be in the Rainford area.
The intention would be to get the train to Town Green arriving no later than 1048 because that will be the time we move off. I will be on the 0936 from Hunts Cross to give you an idea.
I would plan to be back in Liverpool for about 1630 ish,
