We'll meet outside the Visitor Centre. The postcode will take you to the Elan Village itself so just follow the signs for the Visitor Centre when you get near. The Visitor Centre is signposted from Rhayader.

The ride starts at the Elan Valley Visitor Centre and heads back towards Rhayader then turns left up the old Mountain Road. A long steady climb of around 4 miles takes us up into the Elan Valley. The views are definitely worth the climb. Once the climb is over we can enjoy the scenery around the reservoirs. Before returning to the Visitor Centre for a cup of tea we'll head into the Claerwen Valley to see the highest of the 4 dams.
