Tour of Britain - Stage 5

Meeting at the canal basin, which is round the corner from Pontypool park.
We will head into the park and see the build up to the start of the days stage.
Just before the start, we will head out a short distance along the route to see the riders head out on the days stage.
Once the riders have all gone out, we will ride from Pontypool to Blaenavon and then onto the Tumble and take up a position where we can watch the race as it comes up the Tumble twice, with the finish at the top of the second climb.
Leaders are expected at the finish just before 3pm.
Once the race has finished will ride back to Pontypool.

Ride to watch the Tour of Britain in Pontypool and on the Tumble.

We will be riding the B road from Pontypool to Blaenavon and then up to the Tumble.

This is a ride to watch the Tour of Britain.

A good pump, a spare inner tube and a small amount of cash for coffee stops are always a good idea. Plus a helmet for your safety.
