About the route
From cockermouth school, we pick up the Tour of Britain rout through Cockermouth, High Lorton, Whinlater. We leave the ToB route at Braithwaite. We then go along the A591. We regain the route on the B5291 Bassenthwaite continue on to Castle Inn, Embleton we will stop in the Wheatsheaf Inn before returning to Cockermouth school.
