Tour de Manche celebration ride

Join us and celebrate the Big Breeze Bike Ride 2014! This ride is being led by Elaine Sylvester of Love Dartmoor (Breeze champion and Cycle Training Instructor), on behalf of Tavistock Wheelers Cycling Club to celebrate the launch of the new cycling route Tour De Manche.  It will incorporate Drake's Cycle Trail, from Tavistock to Yelverton and will include a road section on the return journey. A torch is required for a railway tunnel! Ride duration...approx 2 hours.   This ride is suited for a road or hybrid bike and suited for any rider. Please bring an inner tube and puncture repair kit just in case. You’ll need a drink, snack to keep you going and money if we stop at a cafe. Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch. Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.
