This is the 4th ride of 6 for the Tour de Hertfordshire which is to celebrate 15 years of Breeze rides.
The Tour of Hertfordshire is taking place over the weekend of 4/5 July and has been split into 6 rides. If you would like to do all of day one (the West part of Hertfordshire) you will need to book yourself onto rides 1, 2, and 3. Similarly if you would like to do all of day 2 (the East part of Hertfordshire) you will need to book onto rides 4, 5 and 6. Otherwise just book onto the ride you would like to do but please note these rides are one way only so you would need to find your own way back.
We’ll meet the top car park in Fairlands Valley park just off SixHills Way. There is plenty of free parking.
This ride is approximately 11 miles and is mostly on road although there is one short section of traffic free which is unsurfaced. So hybrid tyres are the best option for this ride.
There are a few undulations on this ride ride but we will ride at the pace of the slowest so no one will be left behind
Please wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube that fits your bike tyres.
We will finish this ride at the Coffee Lab in Hertford where we’ll have a short break before starting off on the next ride.
