About the route
We will take in Nast Hyde Halt, Nast Hyde House, the Airfield lighthouse and control tower and Hatfield Garden Village. We then do the east side of town via the new cycle path alongside the Great North Road, the nearly finished bit through Queensway woods, the scenic ride through Stream Woods and the ascent of Hill Top. Returning via the University, we will end back at Hatfield town centre in time for refreshments at Symonds bakery.
