Mountain bike only E or analogue, that's upto you. Not suitable for Gravel bikes unless you really enjoy pain, you have been warned. Front suspension Mountain bike is sufficient.

We are not qualified mountain bike leaders, hence this being a community ride. You ride at your own risk and decide if you need to get off on technical sections.

We start off in Rivington. We will climb through the Chinese Gardens. Across a cobble track onto the Sheephouse descent. Down to Belmont. Onto the Whitton Weavers Way towards Tockoles. On trails towards Roddlesworth and onto Abbey Village. We then cut through towards Brinscall where our cafe stop is. Then onto White Coppice. Climb up past Healey Nab. Making our way back to Rivington.

If you are use to riding a bike and have fitness or are E-propelled you should be OK. Not suitable for anyone new to cycling.

A mountain bike specific route. A good introduction to this type of riding if you already ride but fancy trying thus discipline. A classic old school ride, not manicured trail centre tracks. If you are use to trail centres this is a blue skill level, but challenging due to climbing and length of the route.

A mixture of roads, tracks and trails. Some sections on road but not prolonged. Quite a long off road track, expect sheep/cow poo.

There will be a cafe stop at around 15 miles in Brinscall. But please bring snacks for along the route.

No helmet, no ride. Please ensure your bike is in good working order. Have an innertube that fits your bike as they are all different.

We never leave anyone behind
