About the route
Heading out of Tockholes and down into and through the Cathederal Quarter of Blackburn.
The ride then takes us into Wilpshire and over the A59 onto the long sweeping decent into Ribbchester. We follow our well trodden route to Longridge and onto Catford for a cuppa at Roots Cafe. We return using the edge of the Guild Wheel alongside the river then head back on Gregson Lane to Brindle then weave around the canal and over towards Brinscall and onto Abbey Village and return along the now restricted 'average speed cameras' Belmont road to Tockholes and a well earned pint or 3.
