To Upper Denby for the Tour de Yorkshire

You can either start at High Green or meet us at Wortley for this ride on trail and road, with a few challenging hills! Please let us know if you're meeting us at Cote Green car park, off Finkle Street, Wortley. NB: There will only be rolling road closures this year, except in the town & city centres. If you want to order please ring - 01484 861347 From the pub website: Sunday 3rd May, from 12.30pm Following on from the success of last year's Grande Depart, 2015 sees the first ever Tour de Yorkshire and during Stage 3 the peloton will pass right through our part of the world! We will be leaving The George at 12.30pm prompt for a short walk to a great vantage point ready to be in place for when the race reaches Denby to cheer the riders on! We'll then take a steady stroll back to be greeted by a Giant Homemade Pie & Peas with some great live music to listen to! Homemade Pie & Peas £3.95 per person. Please book in advance!
