Starting point

BR3 1AN

Cator Park, Aldersmead Road, Beckenham

Become a tourist for the day, on this ride along the waterlink way and thames cycle path. Starting from Cator park and following our usual route to Surrey docks farm, we continue along the Thames path through old and New London. There are narrow cobbled streets along with sleek new developments. Trying to stay as close as we can to Old Father Thames, we will at time, be dipping and diving between buildings and crossing some bridges so a varied view of London is promised! We will arrive eventually at Tower Bridge, where riders have the option of crossing the bridge for a closer view of the Tower of London, or continuing through the joyous hubbub of the south bank, with its many shops, City Hall, street artists and varied cafes. We will stop for lunch at Southwark Cathedral, just round the corner from Iconic Borough Market. You will then have the option of riding back the way we came or taking the train home from London Bridge, so remember to bring money and your Oyster card. Mileage shown is for the single journey, so please double this if you are riding back. If you need to get home in time for school runs, take the train back. ** PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO BUILDING WORK AT LONDON BRIDGE STATION, NOT ALL ROUTES ARE RUNNING. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE BOOKING THIS RIDE IF YOU ARE USING THE TRAIN RETURN OPTION**
